The blue and green vessel is inspired by a night dive in Bonaire. There is a phenomena during a certain phase of the moon where tiny sea creatures send up tiny glowing “balloons” through the water column. These little guys glow beautifully in the dark water as they rise to the surface. The neutral vessel is called “Mid-winter Looking for Spring”. We all know that time of winter where any suggestion of green gives us hope! This piece has sections of glass that have been powder printed with a photo from an iron gate. Pieces are fused, kiln formed, cold-worked. The neutral piece has been sandblasted on the outside. The photos show two sides of the vessels. Each piece measures 5.5” x 5.5” and is 4” tall.
